not a simile because they use like or as. Could be an analogy but I don't think so. I think its a metaphor because they do the same as similes just without using like or as

It cant be a simile because a simile uses "as".
It cant be an analogy because an analogy describes something in more than 1 feature.
So I think it is a
metaphor
because a metaphor describes something so you can imagine it or there is something you can relate to.
