Answer : The net ionic equation will be,

S^(2-)(aq)+Cu^(2+)(aq)\rightarrow CuS(s)

Explanation :

In the net ionic equations, we are not include the spectator ions in the equations.

Spectator ions : The ions present on reactant and product side which do not participate in a reactions. The same ions present on both the sides.

The given balanced ionic equation will be,

MgS(aq)+CuCl_2(aq)\rightarrow CuS(s)+MgCl_2(aq)

The ionic equation in separated aqueous solution will be,

Mg^(2+)(aq)+S^(2-)(aq)+Cu^(2+)(aq)+2Cl^-(aq)\rightarrow CuS(s)+Mg^(2+)(aq)+2Cl^-(aq)

In this equation,
Mg^(2+)\text{ and }Cl^- are the spectator ions.

By removing the spectator ions from the balanced ionic equation, we get the net ionic equation.

The net ionic equation will be,

S^(2-)(aq)+Cu^(2+)(aq)\rightarrow CuS(s)

The balanced chemical ionic equarion of MgS(aq)+CuCl2(aq) = CuS(s)+MgCl2(aq) would be as follows:

Mg2+ + S2- + Cu 2+ + 2 Cl- ==> CuS + Mg2+ + 2 Cl-

Therefore, the net equation would be:

Cu 2+ + S 2- ===> CuS

Hope this helps.
