14.4 to nearest tenth.

Explanation:

By the Pythagoras theorem:-

Distance = √ [ (y2-y1)^2 + (x2-x1)^2 ] where the 2 points are (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)

= √ [ (16-4)^2 + (9-1)^2]

= √ 208

= 14.4
