Answer: Photosynthesis

Explanation: The photosynthesis process refers to the process by which the plants takes up all the energy from the sun and use it in the production of their own food, by absorbing carbon dioxide and in turn releases oxygen.

This food is then consumed by other animals, so they are considered as autotrophs.

The higher the rate of photosynthesis process, higher is the removal of carbon dioxide and higher is the release of oxygen into the atmosphere.

So more number of plants should be planted in order to reduce the level of carbon dioxide.
