6) 20 minutes is 1/3 of an hour. To find out how many T-shirts per hour, we multiply how many can be produced in 20 minutes by 3.

5 T-shirts X 3 =
15 T-shirts per hour.

7) From Jefferson to Paxten overall, it's 300 miles. Since we're determining miles per hour, we divide 300 by 5 to find out how fast he was travelling.

300 / 5 = 60 MPH

8) This problem explains a fraction, we just have to find the corresponding fraction with a missing denominator.

360 / 12
400 / ?

360 / 400 = 9 / 10

Multiplying the reciprocal by 12 will give us the answer.

(10 / 9) X 12 = 13 Hours and 20 Minutes.

Hope this helps!

7. 250 miles + 50 miles = 300 miles 300 miles / 5 hours = 60 miles per hour
8. 360 pages / 12 hours = 30 pages per hour400 pages / 30 pages per hour = 13 1/3 hours = 13 hours and 20 minutes
