What is the slope of the line joining (3,8) and (12,11) . Show work

Slope is found by doing this formula:

(rise)/(run)
So, if we graph the points. We will see that the y value changes

11-8=3
That's our rise.

Then, for the run

12-3=9

The slope would look like this

Our fraction:
(3)/(9)

3/9=0.3333...
That's our slope!
