Well abnormal square would have four equal sides therefore for the firemen square since it's 9 ft^2 then u square root it and u get 3 that means each side in that green square is 3 now for the red one with 16ft^2 it would be the same consept u would square root 16 which u would get 4 now the two legs are 3 and four now u are missing the hypotenuse at c thus u use pythogerom theorom I don't know how to spell it so don't complain! You would do 3^2+4^2=c^2 which would result to 9+16=c^2. From there u would add and you would get 25 =c^2 and the reverse property of square would be square root it's that radical symbol if u remember so radical 25=5. We are still not finished we have to find the area and since we are working with normal squares where each sides ar eewual then u do 5*5 u get 25!
Now don't forget to write ft2 because then u will get it wrong
And don't be a lazy bum and try rechecking my work because I did it all in my head ok it's 12 o'clock a.m.
Peace
