Two whole numbers have a least common multiple of 60 each number is less than of equal to 12 . The greatest common factor of the two numbers is 2

Answer:

10 and 12.

Explanation:

You may say the two numbers are 2,4 or 6,10 but their multiples can arrive at 60 but their least common multiple is not 60.

The factors of 60 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30 and 60.

Only 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 12 are less than and equal to 12 and the biggest one is 10 and 12.

So the two numbers are 10 and 12.
