Area of square 18 times 18= 324- circle=

Area of circle pi times 9^2= 254.5 using pi symbol
Area not shaded is 69.5 in sq

The question you are asking doesn't give enough information for me to fully answer but from  what is here i would say multiply 18 and 3.14 to get 56.52 in^2. I hope that helped.
