Which part of The Metamorphosis gives you the idea that Gregor's new physical form is disgusting to the family?

A. Gregor wants to send Grete to a conservatory so that she can study the violin.
B. Gregor's mother often suffers from asthma and exhaustion and is unable to find a job.
C. Gregor's father reveals that there is some money left over from the family's failed business.
D. Grete is grateful when Gregor hides himself under the couch so that she doesn't have to see him.

I believe the answer is D, because the fact that Grete is grateful that she doesn't have to see him implies that she is disgusted by his appearance.

In "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka, the option that gives the idea that Gregor´s new physical form is disgusting to the family is D. Grete is grateful when Gregor hides himself under the couch so that she doesn't have to see him. Gregor wakes up one morming only to see that he has turned into a giant vermin. The whole family rejects him, and the sole idea of looking at him makes them sick.
