the answer is 36.8 because you first use the formula PEMDAS
you add whats in parenthesis
next 2.3 *16

Hi!

First, you have to add the addition equation.
(4 + 12) = 4 + 12 = 16

Now, the equation will look like this:
2.3 x 16

Now, you just take this equation like normal:
2.3 x 16 = 36.8
