+ they are all multicellular organisms
+ they all belong to the kingdom of Animalia
+ they all have differentiated specialist cells
+ They are all heterotrophic
+ they all produce off spring by meiosis and fertilisation
+ They all digest food extracellular with the aid of enzymes
+They all have male and female genders
+ I guess they all lay eggs in some shape and form
+ they all respire
+ they are all capable of locomotion
