Sheldon is cleaning out the closet in his spare bedroom. He has been able to decrease the number of items in the closet by half each month. If he started with 192 items in the closet, how many items will be in the closet after 2 months? What function family

After two months he will have 48 items. There are a couple ways to do this.

1) Divide 192 by 2, then 96 (the answer to 192/2) by two again.
OR
2) Divide 192 by 4, which should give you 48, but I haven't tried that yet.

Once again, the answer is *48.*
