Why have government in the region set up national parks? is it more important to use the forest's resources or to protect the natural environment? Why?

National parks are large areas of public land set aside for native plants, animals and the places in which they live. National parks protect places of natural beauty. They also protect places important to Aboriginal people, and places that show how people lived in the past.

National park's are meant to be a safe place for animals and nature where they can't be harmed or pursued for human use. The second question depends on your point of view but the natural environment does need to be protected.
