\bf x^3+x^2+\cfrac{x}{4}\iff x^3+x^2+\cfrac{1}{4}x\implies x\left( x^2+x+(1)/(4) \right) \\\\ -----------------------------\\\\ \cfrac{1}{2}\cdot \cfrac{1}{2}\implies \cfrac{1}{4}\qquad \qquad \cfrac{1}{2}+\cfrac{1}{2}\implies 1\\\\ -----------------------------\\\\ x\left( x+(1)/(2) \right)\left( x+(1)/(2) \right)

X^3+X^2+1/4X

X(X^2+X+1/4)
X(X+1/2)(X+1/2). Answer

Cuz 1/2+1/2=1X. And 1/2 times 1/2= 1/4
