sum of interior in a triangle = 180
180 - 38 = 142

<E = <G = 142/2 = 71

answer
<E = 71

The measure of angle E is 71. If all the angles in the triangle were added together you would get 180. 180-38=142. the little lines show that those sides are congruent and if they are congruent the angles opposite are also congruent. so now we know that the two bottom ones are the same angle measurement so. 142/2 would give you 71
