Consider the function f(x) = 2x - 3. a. What is the independent variable? What is the dependent variable?

The independent variable is 2x because x is the variable you are changing. f(x) would be the dependent variable because that is the result you get due to the independent variable

The Independent variable would be 2x, and the dependent variable would be fx

2x would be independent because you can put those together and get a random number. And fx would be the dependent variable because (x) depends on what the answer to 2x is.

Hope this helped:)
