Kudzu is a plant of Asian origin that has become a problem in North America (tnited States and Canada).

Kudzu arrived in the United States on two occasions: First, in 1876, at the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition Japanese Exposition (but after the exhibition, the plants were destroyed). Second in the United States in 1883 at the New Orleans Exposition, even in the 19th century, Kudzu seeds were imported and sold and from then onwards it became a problem.
