Answer: D - 3 + 2√2 + √3
Solution: For the first question, we can just simply add up all of the terms to find the perimeter. Keep in mind that you cannot collect like terms for √3 and√2, since they are not alike. You have to keep them separate.

Hence, the only via solution is (D) 3 + 2√2 + √3

Answer: C - √10 + √13 = √23
Explanation: If we have two different terms inside the square root, we are not allowed to add them together; yes, you can multiply and divide, but not add or subtract.

For (A), if we square a number inside the root, we simply remove the square root sign, so that is correct.
For (B), we are allowed to multiply two square root numbers inside to form one unit.
For (D), we are allowed to divide two square root numbers inside to form one unit.
