Six hundred people bought tickets to a concert. If 46% were students, how many were not students?

I got a little bit of help but here:

So if 46% of the people were students, you would convert 46% into 0.46.

Therefore now we have the 600 from the people that bought tickets, so

600 and .46 would equal ( = ) to 324:))

46% = 0.46
600 * .46 = 276
600 - 276 = 324

There would be 324 people that were not students.
