Jared needs 60min
Kiara needs
(7)/(12) of (60)

Multiply
(7)/(12) by 60

(7)/(12) *
(60)/(1)
This can be simplified to
(7)/(1) *
(5)/(1)
7*5 = 35

The answer is Kiara needs 35 minutes to get ready for school.
