Answer:

200 = 8x

Explanation:

Danny owes his dad $200.

He charges $28 a lawn, but pays his friend Sam $12 a lawn to help

So, He left with earning for a lawn = $28-$12 = $16

Now we are given that Danny plans to repay his dad with half of what he earns on each lawn

So, he pays his dad on each lawn =
(1)/(2) * 16 = 8

So, he pays $ 8 to his on each mow

Let no. of lawns he mow be x

So, he pays his day on mowing x lawns = 8x

Since He owes $200 from his dad

So,
200 = 8x

or

200=(28-12)/(2)x

Hence the expression which represents the condition is
200 = 8x
