What is the inverse of the function f(x) = x +3? h(x) = x + 3 h(x) = x – 3 h(x) = x – 3 h(x) = x + 3

h(x) = x - 3 the inverse is basically what x is compared with function so if f(x) = x + 3 you would minus 3 from both sides leaving x = f(x) - 3 and then replace f(x) with x

y = x + 3
x = y + 3

Inverse: y = x - 3
