Answer:

y=-1/12x+11/3

Explanation:

When a line is perpendicular, the slope is going to be the negative reciprocal

negative reciprocal ex: 3----> -1/3

since the slope of line you are given is 12, the slope of the perpendicular line is -1/12

so you now know your equation so far is y= -1/12x+b

to find b, replace x and y with the coordinates.

4= -1/12(-4)+b

4=1/3+b

11/3=b

the equation is y=-1/12x+11/3
