a=2xy+2xz+2yz

a=2(xy+xz+yz)

a=2(5.5*3.4+5.5*8.25+3.4*8.25)

a=2(18.7+45.375+28.05)

a=2(92.125)

a=184.25 cm^2

Answer:

Surface area of the prism = 184.25 cm²

Explanation:

In a right rectangular prism the given parameters are

Length = 5.5 cm,

Width = 3.4 cm,

Height = 8.25 cm

We have to calculate the surface area of the given prism.

Since surface area of the prism = 2( length×width + length×height + width×height)

=2(5.5×3.4 + 5.5×8.25 + 3.4×8.25)

= 2(18.7 + 45.375 + 28.05) = 2(92.125) = 184.25 cm²

Therefore surface area of the prism is 184.25 cm²
