The late fee for failing to return a library book is $0.25 per day. The equation that represents this function is y = 0.25x. If the late fee on a book is $4.00, how many days late was it returned? [Type your answer as a number.]

All you need to do is divide 4.00 by .25 and you get 16 days that the book was late.
