I'm not all that good at math but I'm pretty sure the answers 42 its 7+3=10 so 14x3 so 42

They are implying that the rate is constant at:
14pc/7d= 2 postcards per day
So after 10 days at that rate Pam will have bought 10*2=20 postcards.
