The outlier would be $8, because it is far from any of the the other numbers.

8,18,20,22,24,34
Q1 = 18
Q2 = (20 + 22)/2 = 42/2 = 21
Q3 = 24
IQR = Q3 - Q1 = 24 - 18 = 6
outliers would be : 18 - (1.5)6 = 9.....below 9
24 + (1.5)6 = 33...above 33
so ur outliers r both 8 and 34
