Given:

The coordinates of the points through which the line passes,

(x1, y1)=(-3, -3).

(x2, y2)=(4, -2).

The two point form of the equation of a line can be expressed as,

y-y1=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)(x-x1)

Substitute the known values in the above equation.

\begin{gathered} y-(-3)=(-2-(-3))/(4-(-3))(x-(-3)) \\ y+3=(-2+3)/(4+3)(x+3) \\ y+3=(1)/(7)(x+3) \\ 7(y+3)=x+3 \\ 7y+7*3=x+3 \\ 7y+21=x+3 \\ 7y=x+3-21 \\ 7y=x-18 \\ y=(1)/(7)x-(18)/(7) \end{gathered}

Therefore, the equation of the line is,

y=(1)/(7)x-(18)/(7)
