t is thought that Leonardo da Vinci became an artist because, at a young age in 1469, he was apprenticed to a man named Verocchio, who was a well-known artist of the time, according to Boston's Museum of Science.

At a young age in 1469 he was called Verocchio who was a well-known artist of the time, so it interested him to use his brilliant mind to paint. He was a complete Genius!
