What is the mean absolute deviation of 1,1,4,8,9,3,8?

ok here is what you are going to do, you are going to average. Saying the mean is basically saying the average of numbers. You have 3 things with numbers. Mean= average
Median= middle number in a list of numbers
Mode= number that is repeated the most times

In this case we are discussing the mean. 1+1+4+8+9+3+8=34 ok now that we have that we are going to divide to get the average. We count the numbers and get 7 numbers in the list. So we divide 34/7=rounding to the nearest hundredths 4.86
