Construct a circle with centre O, and two perpendicular radii.
Since the radius is 14, OM = ON

Thus, MN² = OM² + ON²
MN² = 14² + 14²
MN² = 392
MN = √392
MN = √(196 · 2)

∴ MN = 14√2 (ie C)
