A cookie recipe calls for 1 cup of raisins and 2 cups of flour. When Alex made a batch of cookies, he also used 2 cups of raisins and 3 cups of flour. Did Alex use the correct ratio of raisins to flour. (And if you can can you support your opinion, if not it's fine)

No, he did not. In the recipe, you are supposed to use two cups of flour for every one cup of raisins. The ratio is 1:2. So if he used 2 cups of raisins, then he needs to use four cups of flour.

no because the ratio for the raisins is 3 three times more and uses one more cup of flour for the flour part
