Alejandro rounded the number 76.518 to 76.5. Jiro rounded the same number to 76.52. Who is correct? Explain your reasoning

I believe Jiro is correct because if you want to count change or money in a problem you would need to end the two digits in the hundredths place. If I want to divide 321÷7 to give someone their change, I would round to the nearest hundredth place because that the most of change that could be available in cents.
321÷7=45.857142857 rounded into $45.85
I'm trying to give as must change as there is possible that was created in money which is the hundredth place that represent cents.

not sure if this makes sense but I tried.

Alejandro is correct because you do not need to add another number to 76.518, as Jiro did, but you need to round it to the nearest tenth.

Glad I could help, and good luck!
