A carpenter can install 8 sheets of drywall in 10 minutes. At this rate, how long does it take to install one sheet of drywall? How long will it take the carpenter to install 60 sheets? A) 1.25 minutes; 1.25 hours B) 1.5 minutes; 1.5 hours C) 2 minutes; 2 hours D) 2.5 minutes; 2.5 hours

If the carpenter installs 8 sheets in 10 minutes, so if we do 10÷8 we can figure out how long it takes to install one sheet of drywall. I got 1.25, so it takes 1.25 minutes to install one sheet of drywall. To figure out how long it will take to install 60 sheets we need to do 60×1.25, and that's 75. (which is an hour and 15 minutes, AKA 1.25 hours)

So the correct answer is A.
