If x, y, and z are positive and x/y=y/z, what is the geometric mean?

the geometric mean for three terms is (xyz)^(1/3)

x=y^2/z so now the equation becomes...

[(y^2/z)*y*z)]^(1/3)

(y^3)^(1/3)

y

So the geometric mean is y.
