Vertical component of velocity = 16sin(30°) = 8m/s

at the highest point of flight, the velocity of the ball is 0 (that moment when it stops before starting to fall) so:

v^2=u^2+2as

0^2=8^2+(2*-9.81* s)

s= (0^2-8^2)/(2*-9.81)
s=3.26m

So rounding up gives option B. (3.3m)
