Pythagorus Middle School wants to buy 40 t-shirts for the cross country team. They look at two stores to see which will give them the better deal. Store A will charge them $6.95 per shirt. Store B said the total for all 40 shirts would be $325, but they will give the school a 20% discount off of that price. Which store has the better deal? Show your work to justify your answer.

Store B

Explanation:

Store A: 6.95 x 40 = 278

Store B: 325 x 0.2= 65

325- 65= 260

Store B= $260
