whole pizza =8/8
he ate 3/8
8/8-3/8=5/8 left
for dinner he ate 2/3 x 5/8=10/24=5/12
3/8+5/12
9/24+10/24 common denominator and add
90/24 change into mixed fraction
3 3/4
