I'm assuming you mean find the height of the triangle as the base and area are given.

The formula for the area of a triangle is base x height

A = B*h

Plug in what we already know, the area is 5 5/6 and the base is 5
B = 5
A = 5 5/6

5 5/6 = 5*h

Solve this like any other algebraic equation. Divide 5 on both sides to find h, the height.

(also, 5 5/6 is = to 35/6, so use that instead)

(35/6)/5 = h

Simplify

35/6 x 1/5 = h

35/30 = h

7/6 = h

So 7/6 feet, or 1 1/6 feet is the height :)
