Molybdenum usually takes the +6 or +4 statse, so the normal molybdenum sulfates should be Mo(SO4)3, molybdenum(VI) sulfate, or Mo(SO4)2, molybdenum(IV) sulfate. If it took the charge +2, it would be MoSO4, molybdenum(II) sulfate.
