The sum of two numbers is 36. The first number is one fifth 1 /5 of the second number. What are the​ numbers?

The answer is actually 6 and 30. "The FIRST number is 1/5 of the second number", 6 is 1/5 of 30 making 6 the first number and 30 the second number. The product would also equal 36.
