The WW2 had caused the global economy to fall in the worst condition ever. Hence, after WW2 ended, the countries had to rebuild themselves. Except USA, which remained in good condition as it was not directly impacted by the war. huge investment was done by the government to build cities, dams, canals roads, electric power stations, nuclear plants etc.
