8 layers. v=lwh so
576 divided by 12 divided by 6=8

Do the opposite of normal equations. Instead of multiplying the answer, divide the answer by the other two numbers you are given

volume=length times width times height
given
volume=576
length=12
width=6
height=?

576=12 times 6 times ?
576=72 times ?
divide both sides by 72
8=?
