3t-7=5t subtract 5t from both sides

-2t-7=0 add 7 to both sides

-2t=7 divide both sides by -2

t=-3.5

So 6t=6(-3.5)=-21

Solve for the variable t first by subtracting 3t from either side to isolate the variable term. Then divide each side by 2 in order to make the variable's coefficient equal to 1. If -7/2 is equal to 1t then multiply -7/2 by 6 to find the value of 6t. 6t=-21
