Quick! And no guessing! What are some pros and cons of using biomass as an energy.

Well some pros are that it will help reduce green house gases. That would be a major effect. Also another pro is that biomass like plants are easily able to be regrown and wouldn't cost nearly as much as some of the power plants we have today. Also another benefit of biomass would be that it can reproduce on its own like orange skins trees banana peels, also the outside of pineapple all of that is biomass meaning that it is mass quantity already inside us. Cons are that if we burn biomass and shut down several power plants in america many will lose jobs. Another con is that even if it is quickly regrowable it would take alot of land to keep as a main power source. Also if we switched biomass to our main energy then we would have to rely on our soil which would be bad because imagine we have a drought or something. We wouldnt have power. These are just a few pros and cons of biomass. Their are many more but unfortunately have to help someone else. Hope I helped you enough though.

Pros- We wouldn't need to use fossil fuels as much (which we have a limited supply of) and we have an unlimited supply when using Biomass as enegy.
It actually produces more oxygen when growing biomass crops and uses up carbon dioxide.

While for cons...
There's more work when it comes to growing and handling these crops, and this lifestyle in general.
more money and resources that we do not always have.
We don't always have a certain animal waste - which can slow down the process a little more if there's not enough of a certain thing. But of course referencing the pro side of things - we will always be able to produce biomass energy through things such as dead plants, etc.
