cash bonuses should not be a way to encourage students to do work. I think schools should not offer cash bonuses, because there will be students that try their best in whatever their work is yet they can still fail and that would just make them want to drop out, it puts more pressure on them. There are also cheaters in school, some might be caught but not all will, they'll get away with it. It just causes competition and can lead to many damages.

I think students should not get cash bonuses for good grades. First of all, this could lead to students becoming motivated to cheat. When money is involved, some would seek to get that money at any and all costs. Secondly, to those students who struggle, even when doing their best work, this could discourage them to the point of dropping out all together. Thidly, with the difficulty school districts have in funding public school systems, this would be another major drain on struggling districts.
