They would most likely get very sick from little things. Lymphocytes are white blood cells. White blood cells are your line of defense when you get sick. If you had no line of defense simple things like a cold could have drastic effects on your health and could lead to death.

Answer:

He would become immunocompromised and get very sick from even common infections.

Step-by-step explanation:

A disease that prevents lymphocytes from maturing would lead to immunodeficiency in affected person. Immunodeficiency represents a state of immune system, in which body fails to fight against infectious pathogens.

Lymphocytes play important role in fighting with various viral, fungal and bacterial infections. Due to lack of functioning lymphocytes, the person would become immunocompromised and vulnerable to various common infections.

For example, during AIDS (a disease that affects T lymphocytes) leads to development of opportunistic infections (infections that affect people with weak immune system) and a person having AIDS can get very sick from common infections, such as common cold.
