7.20 into a fraction could be 7 2/10
6.40 into a fraction could be 6 4/10
Add them together: 7 2/10+6 4/10=13 6/10
Simplify 11 6/10
6÷2=3
10÷2=5
Answer: 13 3/5

The answer is 13.6 i'm guessing you want it as a fraction as a fraction it would be 13 6/10 reduced would be 13 3/5
