Judging from past bowling games, the probability that you will get a strike in a game is 60%. If you bowl 40 games, in how many games can you expect to bowl a strike?

To solve this probability, you have to convert the percentage into a decimal, then multiply that by the total number of games played. To convert 60% into a decimal, simply move the decimal place two places to the left.
60% ⇒ .60
.60 · 40 = 24

I will be expecting to bowl a strike in 24 of the 40 games.

Hope this helps. Good luck! :)

you need to find 60% of 40 :

60×40=2400
2400÷100=24

you can expect to bowl a strike in 24 games

hope this helped
